Sarah Becker is the owner and trainer of Sea Change Canine, LLC.  She is a NACSW Certifying Official, Trial and ORT Judge and Host, CNWI (2016) and active competitor.  She has enjoyed the journey of training and competing with four dogs of various sizes and relationships.  Little Debbie spun and screeched.  Mr. Pickles came from a hoard, afraid of the world, Pee Wee battled health and behavior problems and Pono was afraid of floors for years.  Nosework gave them all confidence and joy in our world.

Sarah discovered Nosework in 2012 while searching for an appropriate outlet for Little Debbie and shelter dogs.  She worked as an animal shelter employee and volunteer for 12 years, four of those as a behavior assessment team leader.  Sarah then transitioned to teaching people to train their dogs full time, teaching puppy, teen, tricks and Nosework.

Sarah’s passion is creating skill building lessons by shaping behaviors that allow a dog to make correct decisions.

Sarah’s teaching career started as a student and competitor of hunter jumper horses.  She went on to earn a BFA and worked two decades in the arts, film and floral industry as an exhibitions and events manager, creating and coordinating small to large scale events.  Sarah is an active gardener, music listener and forever student, learning piano and maintaining current canine education.  Spider the Chihuahua recently joined the household and will start sniffing soon.
