Anita Ambani, CNWI, embarked on her journey into the world of Nose Work in 2017 while living in Anita AmbaniManhattan, NYC. It all began with her Bolognese dog, Zuri, who needed a new activity after being washed from therapy dog programs. Anita was captivated by the positive transformation in Zuri, who evolved from a reactive and shut-down dog into a confident and enthusiastic searcher. This experience ignited Anita's passion for Nose Work and its profound impact on dogs and their handlers.

After relocating to central Ohio in 2019, Anita continued her Nose Work journey as both a student and competitor. She immersed herself in learning everything about the sport and began teaching teams privately. Her dedication led her to the NACSW Instructor Training Program, where she became a Certified Nose Work Instructor in 2022. Today, Anita owns The Scholarly ScentZ, LLC, where she offers in-person and virtual Nose Work classes, seminars, and training events. Anita currently serves as a NACSW Score Room Lead (SRL), Odor Recognition Test (ORT) Judge/Certifying Official (CO), Trial CO, and ORT Host.

Anita is an avid dog sport competitor, with Zuri achieving a historic milestone as the first Bolognese to earn titles in NACSW.  Zuri has earned her NW3-Elite title, multiple EST/NSAM titles and is starting her Elite journey. Her young miniature poodle, Figment, is also making strides in NACSW, earning his first NSAM title and is currently competing at the NW2 level.  Although Nose Work is the main focus, Anita and her dogs also train and compete in various dog sports, including Agility, Obedience, Rally, Barn Hunt, FastCAT, and Coursing Ability Tests, earning titles across several organizations. In her spare time, Anita balances her passion for all things nose work and dog sports with her role as a Program Manager for a global investment bank.
