NACSW is the only official sanctioning and organizing body for the sport of K9 Nose Work.
Certified Nose Work Instructors (CNWI)
The NACSW has established the guidelines for certification of nose work instructors. NACSW involvement has been to ensure that standards of excellence are met in teaching the sport of nose work to handler/dog teams. Certified nose work instructors may use the acronym, CNWI, following their name to indicate that they have achieved the instructor certification requirements. CNWI operate under their own businesses and are not employed through the NACSW. Each instructor may have their own class requirements and structure. Please contact them directly for more detailed information. CNWI are required to complete continuing education courses in order to maintain a current certification status. All of the instructors listed below are current in their certification unless otherwise noted.
A current listing of certified nose work instructors is made available on this website.
The NACSW is a sanctioning and certifying body and is not a teaching program. Please visit www.k9nosework.com for more information on workshops, classes and getting started in nose work.
